Our tennis team has been, due to the Governor's budget cuts on education, particluarly in the CSU system, dropped. Our Division 1 program has been cut, and we will be finishing out the year in 2010 and soon be discontinued. We do, however, have the option to raise the money to operate on our own. We need to raise $300,000 to support our program or our kids will lose their scholarships. As the only 4-year university in town, our kids look up to the student-athletes competing at our Division 1 athletics program, and families can appreciate the great experience of being on and around the team. Our university is a vital part of our tennis community, but it will take a community effort to save it. Please donate! Every little bit counts!
